Home Venting Solutions – Quick Quote & Check Measure Guide

We can provide your quote within 2-4 business days, but the accuracy depends on how much information you provide.
The more photos and measurements you include, the faster we can confirm the correct venting system, materials, and installation cost for your home.

📦 Important Details to Include

  • Rangehood Model: Include photos of the new unit or packaging showing the model number.

  • External Motor Model (if applicable): For example — Schweigen, Falmec, or Whispair.

  • Where Purchased: Retailer or supplier name.

  • Full Site Address & Suburb: The complete installation address (for accurate quoting and travel zones).

📸 What to Upload

Please include clear, well-lit photos from the following angles:

1. Kitchen/Alfresco Rangehood Area

  • Show the entire cooking area, including benchtop, cooktop, rangehood, cabinets, and ceiling — all in one photo.

  • Include a close-up of the model label if your rangehood is already installed (usually found inside or underneath the hood).

2. Roof Area Above Rangehood

  • Take a photo of the roof above your kitchen where the venting will go.

  • Include the roof material and color (e.g., Colorbond Surf mist, Tiled Charcoal) to help us match the correct venting system.

  • Photos can be taken safely from the ground — no need to climb up.

3. External Wall or Eaves Area

  • If your venting exits through a wall or eave, include a photo of that outside area.

  • For two-storey homes, please provide photos for each level.

4. (Optional) Inside Cabinet / Ducting

  • If your rangehood connects to ducting inside cabinetry, please include a photo with the doors open showing the interior shelves and duct path.

  • This helps us confirm available space and connection type.

📏 Key Measurements to Include

Include a photo of your tape measure if possible — this saves time on follow-ups.

  • Benchtop to ceiling height (mm)

  • Rangehood width (e.g., 600, 900, or 1200 mm)

  • (Optional) Cooktop to hood distance (mm)

Silent Rangehoods: For example — Schweigen, Falmec, or Whispair.

External rangehood motors require specialist custom roof vents for mounting the roof motor:

We require the profile and angle of the Tin roof.

You can Download a free Bubble Level app, place your phone flat on the roof edge to record the angle.

If you can’t determine the roof pitch, we can arrange a site check measure for a small call-out fee.

💡 Handy Tip

If your rangehood is noisy but doesn’t seem to extract much air, the issue is usually the venting system — not the motor.
By sending through the right details, we can ensure your setup includes our Hi-Flow, bushfire-safe, and energy-efficient vents for quieter, more effective performance.

🕑 Submission & Response

Once submitted, our team will:

  1. Review your photos and measurements.

  2. Confirm compatibility with our venting systems.

Our Mission

To provide Perth homes and builders with premium rangehood installation and venting solutions that improve indoor air quality, safety and long-term energy efficiency.

What We Stand For

At Home Venting Solutions, everything we do is built around one simple idea: do the job properly, and stand behind it.

We believe a rangehood system should do more than just remove cooking effluents — it should protect the home, improve air quality, operate quietly and efficiently, and last for years. That’s why we focus on the full installation, not just the appliance. From ducting and venting to the roof or the wall , every detail matters.

As a West Australian family-owned business, our reputation has been built job by job, home by home, over more than two decades. We work closely with builders, retailers and homeowners to make sure every installation is compliant, safe, and designed for the way people actually live and cook.

Our 8 technicians aren’t general trades — they are rangehood specialists. That means better airflow, lower noise, fewer call-backs and systems that perform exactly as they should from day one.

When you choose HVS, you’re choosing experience, accountability and a team that genuinely cares about doing it right.
