Ventilation Solutions for Home Appliances Kitchen and BBQ Rangehoods

The Dragon DV-280 roof vent has a much lower profile than standard mushroom-style vents so you can maintain the pleasing aesthetics of your home without compromising on efficiency.

The DV-280 model (for corrugated tin roofs) has a unique gravity non–return gate inside the vent which shuts out draughts (hot or cold) entering the home.  This vent is excellent for homeowners and builders that wish to achieve green star ratings on their designs.

The Dragon DV-150 Roof Vent is used for both tin and tiled roof applications and easily fits onto a standard 150mm roof vent. Perfect for the homeowner upgrading the rangehood and requiring a more stylish and efficient roof vent to cater for the High Flow rate of the appliance. This vent also is designed to stop flies, insects & vermin entering the home.

Both of these roof vents are designed to handle low and high-powered kitchen and BBQ rangehoods and ceiling exhausts fans.

Benefits of DV-280 Roof Vents

  • Stops flies and unwanted pests entering the home via roof vents;
  • Energy efficient with the internal gravity gate stopping hot and cold air returning into the home;
  • Pushes air away from the roof cover (not down on to the roof cover) preventing staining of your roof and solar panels;
  • Compliant to AS3959, Bushfire Attack Level BAL 12.5 – BAL 40 (and BAL FZ on steel framed roofs);
  • Tested to 1200m3/h of airflow;
  • Made from Australian Colorbond and 316 stainless steel 2mm mesh;
  • Made in Australia for the Australian climate;
  • Low profile design.

DV-280 Airflow Testing (vs The Rest)

  • The DV-280 has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that it is not only bushfire compliant (to BAL-FZ for steel framed roofs) and cyclone compliant but will maximise the performance of your rangehood or ceiling fan.
  • When compared to other market offerings (including a standard after-market roof vent cap and a standard low rated BAL cap with or without mesh) the ability of the DV-280 to match and beat any appliances requirements is clear.
  • The DV-280 can provide airflow management at 300l/s – well above any other offering in todays market; and with appliance output continuing to increase across the board, our clients know that with the DV-280 they are reducing bottlenecks and increasing output no matter what they hook up to this modern Australian vent.
  • With years of development behind us, Home Venting Solutions provides you with multiple options for roof venting for your home, sheds, multi-dwelling complex or office.  We have roof vents (tin and tiled), wall vents (single and double) and eaves vents (single and double) – all bushfire compliant and all designed to manage your appliances venting requirements.
  • Contact us now and we will walk you through which venting solution is the right one for you so that you can design or upgrade your existing venting needs knowing you will finish with the best possible outcome.
